CONSULTATIONS

 Dr. Stereo offers in-home or on-site consultations to go over the scope of audio/video work a client is looking to have done. 

If a client is located over 50 miles from our showroom location, we will collect a deposit of $250 per consultation (with the deposit due at the time of the consultation). Upon acceptance of the proposal, Dr. Stereo will apply the $250 deposit toward the overall cost of the project.

If a client is located less than 50 miles from our showroom, it is up to the discretion of the Dr. Stereo staff whether a fee will be charged for the consult along with any consecutive proposals.

MARY DAVIS
Owner
Mary started working with her husband, Steve, at Elite Audio, a retail store located in Eau Claire, WI, in 1999. She has worked in the A/V industry for the majority of the years since then. She earned a B.B.A. in Marketing from UW-Eau Claire in 2001 and has enjoyed promoting her A/V companies through various networking organizations and handling business management. Mary and husband Steve owned Dr. Stereo, Inc., in Henderson, NV, for 10 years before moving to Kentucky in 2014. Mary loves reading, hiking, boating, watching movies, and listening to music. Mary and Steve have one teenage daughter who keeps them very busy! Mary is excited about owning Dr. Stereo, LLC in Central Kentucky where she continues to share her love of music and movies.

STEVE DAVIS
Audio/Video Consultant
Steve earned a degree in Electronics in 1988 and was nicknamed "Doc" many years ago due to his expertise in the A/V industry. Steve was the owner of Elite Audio in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, from 1988 to 2004. He partnered with wife Mary Davis to own and operate Dr. Stereo, Inc. in Henderson, NV, from 2005 to 2014, where Steve did sales and installation of home audio systems in the Las Vegas valley. Steve loves fishing, drag racing, tractor pulls, watching movies, and listening to music. Steve is an A/V guru and a fantastic consultant for Dr. Stereo.

Chase Lovins

A/V Technician

Chase joined the Dr. Stereo team in February of 2025. He is currently a Cyber Systems Tech major at Eastern Kentucky University and works for Dr. Stereo part-time while finishing his degree. Chase grew up in Berea and still lives there. He was an IT intern at Berea Community High School so technology is something that he's been around his whole life. He has five cats, and he says that Ivy is his favorite. When he isn't at school or working, Chase likes soccer, the gym, and gaming.

JT Ginter
Assistant A/V Technician

JT joined Dr. Stereo in June of 2025. He grew up and lives in Richmond, KY, and he has a dog named Lucky. JT previously was a crew member at Culver's before joining our team. He enjoys watching sports, cars, and video games. His favorite teams are UK and the Tampa Bay Bucs, Rays, & Lightning. His favorite video game is Star Wars: Jedi Survivor.

Ash Hansel

A/V Technician

Ash joined our team in June of 2025. He currently lives in Richmond, KY, and he grew up in Mount Vernon, KY. Ash's previous work experience was in IT hardware and software. He has a 2 year old Poodle/Cocker Spaniel mix dog named Shiloh, and he enjoys gaming, socializing, and trying new foods.
